Chalet Walnut Dressing

Quick Chalet Walnut Vegan dressing / sauce

*** Dairy  and Oil Free

1 C  Walnuts 
1 T Tamari or low sodium soy sauce  (reduce as desired for a lower sodium dressing)
1 C  filtered water - reduce water if a thicker dressing or sauce desired
2  garlic cloves  (Feel free to use one clove for a milder taste)
Optional Non-fortified Nutritional Yeast
Optional Splash of Fig, Orange or Balsamic vinegar 

Yield:  2 cups

This dressing can be modified to mimic a ranch dressing by adding 1/4 red onion or a teaspoon of onion power and the juice of 1/2 lemon.  Also add 1 T fresh dill and 1/2 cup fresh parsley.  If using dried herbs, use 1 teaspoon dill and 1 tablespoon parsley.

Drizzle on bean burritos before folding to ressemble sour cream.

Blend in a Vitamix and Bam!a make your dish taste fantastic! With orange or red cherry tomato on the side.
